1. The Forestry Development Authority invites sealed Bids from eligible suppliers for the Supply of Vehicles & Motorbikes for FDA. The bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act, 2005 and the Guidelines of the Public Procurement and Concessions Commission of Liberia.
2. A complete set of Bidding Document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon the payment of a non-refundable fee of one hundred United States Dollars (USD100.00) to the Accounts Department of FDA from 8:30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. daily.
3. Tenders must be accompanied by the following documents:
1. Business Registration
2. Article of Incorporation
3. Evidence of tax clearance from the Ministry of Finance
4. Contact References—
5. Past Performance on similar line of business
Bids are to be clearly marked “Bid for Vehicles & Motor Bikes” and addressed to the Procurement Committee, Forestry Development Authority.
Bids must be delivered to our head offices situated at Whein Town, Montserrado County, Monrovia, Liberia, beginning , Janruary 20, 2011 to March 23, 2011.
Bids will be opened by the Procurement Unit of FDA in the presence of the Bidder representatives who choose to attend in the FDA Headquarters, Whein Town on March 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Bids coming after 11:00am on March 23, 2011 will be REJECTED and RETURNED UNOPENED.

Meanwhile, the National Competitive Bid (NCB) that was advertised in the local dailies on 17th of December 2010 by the Forestry Development Authority has been canceled because of the increase in the need for more vehicles and motorbikes. All interested bidders that purchased bid documents are advised to pick up a copy of the ICB bid document based on the payment made for the NCB.
